Quotes

It isn't often these days that you meet a person who is not only very knowledgeable in such a varied field as teaching and learning but one who also has the personality and drive to inspire you to learn. These are true qualities of Annie that have inspired not only myself to achieve further qualifications at 56 years of age, but several of my colleagues that have also achieved through Annie and hold the same view. Annie I wish you well for your future. Many thanks.

NVQ Assessor and Verifier training

In order to be qualified to assess NVQs you need two things: a sound background in your own occupational area and a unit from the Learning and Development NVQ: Unit A1 - Assess Candidates Using a Range of Methods. You need to show that you can effectively plan assessments, judge your candidate's evidence, provide feedback and support to your candidate, and comply with and contribute to your organisation's quality assurance processes.

You may later wish to progress to become an internal verifier when you will need Unit V1 - Certificate in Conducting Internal Quality Assurance of the Assessment Process. In this unit, you need to show that you can carry out and evaluate internal assessment and quality assurance systems, support assessors, monitor the quality of assessors' performance and meet external quality assurance requirements

IVITA Learning cannot give you your years of experience of course, but we can train, support and assess you in order to achieve the A1 and V1 awards. In addition to the training, you will receive a portfolio designed to help you structure your evidence, and on-going e-mail support throughout.
