My background and qualifications
After 25 years experience in teaching and training adults at work, I started IVITA Learning in early 2004 and have steadily built a reputation for offering affordable quality training and assessment in the North West and North East of England.
I am committed to the principles of lifelong learning having completed my MA (Education), and Diplomas in Life Coaching and Performance Coaching.
A cross section of clients I work with
Carillion Construction Training Limited in Carlisle, Wearside and Tyneside offers diploma programmes to young people in construction skills. I work with their work-based trainers and assessors on the qualifications they need to best help their young learners.
I work with Cumbria CVS to offer the third sector the brand new NVQ Diplomas in Management at Levels 5 and 7.
Lancaster University (CETAD) in Lancashire, London and Cumbria. I have worked on four management programmes and the university’s own Mentoring Award programme with financial directors in the NHS. I am currently a tutor and supervisor for Masters Degree students in Developing Professional Practice in Management.
Along with two associate trainers, I work with Care Sector Alliance Cumbria (CSAC) to offer ILM Award in First Line Management. Learners can also attend stand-alone training sessions to equip them with practical management skills to take back to work.
